This course focuses on research methodology and scientific writing for Informatics and Computer (INFOKOM) discipline that mainly constitute: Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), Software Engineering (SE), Information System (IS), and Information Technology (IT). The course shall convey the attitude of student ways of thinking toward systematic and logical processes, scientifically. Close attention is paid to conduct a mini research and write a scientific paper as an integrated process, in the field of INFOKOM. To a large extent, the course deals with how to conduct research in INFOKOM fields, so that the “researcher” can manage its resources optimally and write the research report scientifically.  Beside that, this course will explore the role of research to having a core function in deriving understanding of a new knowledge, skills, and attitude in the areas of INFOKOM development.
